Street food. Bold flavors. Real India.

Masala dosa from a 16-hour batter. Chicken pakoda pulled straight from hot oil. Chai brewed hard. We don’t reheat anything — ever.

Our story

Started in a
parking lot.

Street Spice Co. was a bet that Americans were ready for real South Indian street food — not buffet-style, not fusion. The actual thing, made the actual way. Cooked to order. Handed through a window.

Priya and Rajan run every service from scratch. The batter ferments overnight. The sambar starts at 6 AM. Nothing comes from a packet. Nothing gets reheated. Nothing cuts corners.

What people say

Unedited.

★★★★★

"The masala dosa is the best I’ve had outside of Bangalore. That batter has a sour tang you only get from a real long ferment. I come back every Wednesday."

Meera K. — Austin, TX
★★★★★

"Chicken pakoda changed my life. Ate the whole plate in three minutes, went back to the window, ordered another. The mint chutney is genuinely dangerous."

James L. — food truck regular
★★★★★

"I grew up eating South Indian food and I was skeptical. One bite of the idly-sambar and I called my mom. She was happy. That is the entire review."

Ananya R. — Houston, TX
